The Cartelle Group (Cartelle) is building a global fitness brand that brings women together to embrace their “badass-selves” in the name of fitness and doing good. Working with global fitness influencers, Cartelle produces workout materials that are delivered through their digital platform.They leverage converging trends in technology, social media and digital marketing to reflect the cultural shifts in the millennial generation.

Our Story

Adidas was founded in 1949 and Nike in 1964. Both companies launched their global empires using retail. Cartelle is moving past the traditional business model of selling goods through brick and mortar stores and is instead using 21st century technology such as machine learning, digital platforms and social engagement models to build a global brand. Cartelle has positioned itself to be the digital enabler for fitness influencers on the internet. The relationship benefits both parties as influencers, those with large online audiences focused around fitness, need these 21st century tools to create a durable business.

Fitness influencers have direct and authoritative access to the end consumer, but lack the business acumen and resources to monetize their relationships. Cartelle is the missing piece of the puzzle as they provide four core services for the influencers: talent agency, media production, technology development, and digital marketing. Cartelle provides all of this wrapped in a fitness lifestyle brand which will help them convert their popularity into revenue.

In the same way that record labels help music artists by providing the business framework, Cartelle assumes the role of “record label” for fitness influencers on the internet.

The Next Big Step

Cartelle has developed their software and is in the process of onboarding their first influencers. They are looking to quickly scale and as a part of that, are looking to raise $75,000.00 through their loan with ATB LendR. This loan will allow them to:

  • Bring on core staff to scale production of content and their digital platform

  • Pay for content creation of 6-8 influencers, while also leveraging their followers for increased awareness

  • Improve tracking of conversion costs and lifetime value of a customer

  • Provide a sponsorship budget for athletes and for a paid digital campaign to increase conversions and sales

Use of the Funds

Cartelle has developed their software and is in the process of onboarding their first influencers. They are looking to quickly scale and as a part of that, are looking to raise $75,000.00 through their loan with ATB LendR. This loan will allow them to:

  • Bring on their developer full-time to accelerate the fine touches and expansion of their digital platform

  • Pay for content creation of 3-4 influencers, while also leveraging their followers for increased awareness

  • Improve tracking of conversion costs and lifetime value of a customer

  • Provide a sponsorship budget for athletes and for a paid digital campaign to increase conversions and sales

Terms of LendR Loans

The loan will have a term of 2 years (24 months), beginning after the loan is successfully funded. The Cartelle Group Ltd. will repay the principal plus 15% interest, calculated as a blended loan. The Cartelle Group Ltd. will make monthly payments of 1/24 the total repayment amount. If The Cartelle Group Ltd. chooses to repay the loan early, the principal plus the full interest remaining in the 24 month period must be paid.
